Learn how to bid on great silent auction items!

Step 1

Go to DogBall.givesmart.com on your computer, phone, or iPad and click on View Items

Step 2

Click on the item or items that you want to see, for example, item 702

Step 3

The selected item will display.

If you want to see any of the item thumbnails in expanded form, click on the thumbnail you would like to expand and then click on the magnifying glass
Close the expanded view by clicking on the X in the top right corner of the screen to return to the item description page

Step 4a

If you are already a registered user and you have signed in, follow the system prompts by entering your name, mobile phone number, and email – then place your bid

Step 4b

If you have never been to the site before, you will be asked to register before placing a bid, follow the system prompts to complete your registration

If you would like to Auto Bid, click on the Auto Bid tab and enter the amount you are willing to bid – the system will increase your bid automatically until your set amount is reached (in much the same way bidding on eBay works).

If you are out bid, the system will alert you and enable you to increase your bid

Step 5

Note, if you did not enter a credit card during registration, the system will prompt you to enter a credit card now – follow the system prompts to continue with your bid – entering this information will enable you to bid on other items without having to reenter your information
