GHHS is no-kill animal shelter in Huntsville, Alabama.

With numbers rising and more of us popping up positive, protocols are going to be changed temporarily. Effective January 14, 2022, all staff and volunteers will be required to wear a mask at all times. We will continue to encourage masks and hand sanitizer for our guests. We will have signs posted encouraging to wear a mask and it’s recommended.

At the shelter we will limit one family at a time in the cat room, dog kennels, and waiting areas. This is going to be very similar to our past experience with limiting traffic within the shelter. If numbers continue to rise and places shut down, we will only allow approved applicants in the shelter.

We need everyone healthy and safe to “Unleash Possibilities” in 2022.
