Monte's 10 County Challenge

10 counties. 2 weeks. Unlimited impact.
Presented by:

We are taking Monte’s Wellness Clinic on the road.

For two years, Monte’s Wellness Clinic has run out of GHHS, offering affordable wellness care and education to families who love their pets and need help covering the cost of keeping them healthy. It works. We see it every month.

Then came Community Day on June 13. The turnout was bigger than we planned for, and it left us with a question: how do we get this to the people who can’t drive to Huntsville?

So we are driving to them instead. Nine counties across North Alabama over two weeks, starting August 11. Madison County was the tenth, already served right here at home.

At every stop, while supplies last:

  • Free dog and cat food
  • Free wellness exams
  • Free vaccines, including rabies, DHPP, and FVRCP
  • Spay/neuter vouchers
We are extremely grateful for our partners!
A BIG thank you to the following for helping make our vision a reality!

Every stop along Monte’s 10 County Challenge has a local host who opened a door, welcomed us in, and did the groundwork to make this possible: Colbert County Animal Services, Chapel King of the Killen City Council, Friends of Rescue, Marshall County Animal Shelter, DeKalb County Animal Adoption Center, and Bark Avenue Pet Resort.

And to the County Commissioners, Mayors, City Councils, veterinarians, rescue groups, and community advocates who stepped up—THANK YOU for believing in this vision and helping us bring it to life.

This is what community collaboration looks like!
