About Spencer Batcheller

Spencer Batcheller has over ten years of animal care experience. His roots are in Fort Dodge, Iowa where he held the positions of manager and board member at the local county shelter. He also possesses experience in dog park development, working closely with Purina. Since moving to the Huntsville area in 2018 he served as the Adoption Center Manager for another local nonprofit rescue until starting as the Director of Animal Care with GHHS in October 2019.
