Back to the Felines stepped back in time while helping the future.

Back to the Felines, a full-out 80s fundraising event benefiting the Greater Huntsville Humane Society (GHHS) was held on the Orion Amphitheater campus, on Friday September 22, 2023, 6PM-9PM!

DJ A-Twist played memories from years gone by before and after, Sonic Blue, Huntsville’s own 80s cover band, took the stage. The event also featured food trucks, prizes, and more! And yes, the 80s costumes were totally a-w-e-s-o-m-e and appreciated!

To view the photos of the event, view the gallery linked below! Special thanks to our friends at Friendly Cactus Photography for the pics!

Proceeds from Back to the Felines went toward the GHHS Cat Sanctuary, a safe haven for our feline friends diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) while they await their furever homes. The GHHS Cat Sanctuary is the first of its kind in the state of Alabama and will be a resource for local rescues and shelters, in addition to the southeast region of the United States. More info on the cat sanctuary can be found by visiting the GHHS website, https://ghhs.org/cat-sanctuary/
