The Greater Huntsville Humane Society (GHHS) is teaming up with Jordan’s Way on Sunday, July 24th, 2022, from 10AM-2PM at 2812 Johnson Rd. SW, Huntsville, AL 35805.

In honor of his beloved rescue dog Jordan, Kris Rotonda travels the United States with the mission of raising money for shelters and rescues. Jordan’s Way has set a $20,000 target for the GHHS fundraiser. The fundraiser will be conducted through a Facebook Live event.

GHHS is working with community partners to reach the fundraising goal.

Island Dog Training, a local pet service in Huntsville has confirmed the first donation match of $950.00. The second donation match is sponsored for $1000.00 from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Vodka for Dog People. Challenges include kennel lock-ins, a dunk tank provided by Summer Fun Entertainment, and cupcake roulette presented by The Moon Bakeshop. Community partners Polaris, Landers McLarty Subaru, and Revolved Realty will also be involved with on-site challenges and social media efforts. Water for participants is being provided by Crystal Mountain Water.

Community residents are encouraged to visit throughout the event. Chaos, the Huntsville Havoc mascot will be on-site from 10AM-12PM. Black Dog Grounds and Sounds will be serving (for purchase) coffee and fresh-squeezed lemonade for the duration of the event. The shelter building will remain closed for safety. In person donations are welcomed.
