Three Tails Resale – Part Time Store Associate WH/Driver Responsibilities

  • Strive to increase revenue for the GHHS pets through sales and donations.
  • Execute daily store operations via store procedures and protocol.
  • Assist with daily cleaning such as trash removal, sweeping, and dusting.
  • Communicate with all demographics professionally and effectively through respectful interactions with staff, volunteers, customers, and donors.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures efficiently.
  • Assist with unloading/loading, sorting, and processing of donations.
  • Support store team on cash register duties.
  • Lead thrift store pickups, pay it forward programs and shelter errands.

Required Qualifications

  • Boast a passion for animal welfare and advocacy.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Must be available to work, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30AM-4:30PM.
  • High school or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Familiarity with communication apps such as Slack.
  • Must possess driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to:
    • Lift heavy objects (furniture, boxes) while adhering to safety procedures.
    • Climb stairs holding boxes, totes, and other large donations.
    • Work in hot/cold temperatures.
    • Work independently as well as collaboratively and productively with GHHS staff, volunteers, stakeholders, and the Huntsville community.
    • Interact comfortably with all demographics of community population; public, leadership staff, volunteers, pets etc.

This position has the opportunity for pay increase and bonuses upon employee reviews.
