Biography:

Meet Faith...The lovely emerald eyed girl is looking for a special new family. She is extremely sweet and loves attention. She loves to cuddle up under blankets and enjoys the occasional squeeze treat. Right now she's a bit opinionated about other cats, and we don't know if she has ever been around dogs. Faith is recovering from a terrible flea infestation, she's flea free now, but her hair is still growing back. We expect her to be a medium haired cat. She appears to be sensitive to environmental changes, such as allergens and fleas. It is highly recommended that Faith stays on a vet prescribed flea/tick medication. She also has a small growth under her tongue that causes her to have a puffy bottom lip. This growth has been biopsied and results came back normal. Our mission is to complete families through a thoughtful and thorough adoption process.

To ensure every animal is placed in a forever home, GHHS begins this process with a detailed adoption application. Each interested, potential adopter will fill out the application attached to the animal of interest. To be considered for adoption:

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.
If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.
If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter’s home.
Some animals may require a home inspection.
