Biography:

Meet Trapper! He's a young, medium-sized sweet, but shy boy. He enjoys going on walks(We're working on leash manners) and he loves toys. Trapper plays well with other dogs of similar size and energy. We are unsure of Trapper's past, he is hesitant around new people, especially men. It takes him a while to warm up to you, but after some time, and a few yummy treats he warms up. He will need someone who is willing to give him time and patience to come out of his shell. Trapper would do best in a home without cats or young children. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention medicine. Apply to adopt him at ghhs.org!

To ensure every animal is placed in a forever home, GHHS begins this process with a detailed adoption application. Each interested, potential adopter will fill out the application attached to the animal of interest. To be considered for adoption:

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.
If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.
If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter’s home.
Some animals may require a home inspection.
