Position Summary: The Store Associate position will assist in maintaining donation organization, pricing, and providing a welcoming shopping environment. This position is best suited for candidates that possess good time and task management skills, including prioritizing and changing tasks easily. Three Tails Resale – Store Associate Responsibilities

Three Tails Resale – Store Associate Responsibilities

  • Always strive to increase revenue for the GHHS pets through sales.
  • Support daily store operations and store procedures and protocol.
  • Assist with daily cleaning such as trash removal, sweeping, dusting.
  • Communicate with all demographics professionally and effectively.
  • Model respectful interaction with staff, volunteers, customers, and donors.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures efficiently.
  • Assist with unloading, sorting, and processing of donations.
  • Experience in cash/credit handling and cash register systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Boast a passion for animal welfare and advocacy.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Interest in working 2-3 days a week, Tuesday-Saturday,9AM-4:30PM; Saturdays required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Must possess a driver’s license, clean driving record and insurance.
  • High school or General Education Degree (GED) required; experience in warehouse/ retail preferred.
  • Must be comfortable and willing to interact with all demographics of the community population; public, leadership staff, volunteers, pets etc.
