Position Summary: The Store Associate position will assist in maintaining donation organization, pricing, and providing a welcoming shopping environment. This position is best suited for candidates that possess good time and task management skills, including prioritizing and changing tasks easily.
Three Tails Resale – Store Associate Responsibilities
- Always strive to increase revenue for the GHHS pets through sales.
- Support daily store operations and store procedures and protocol.
- Assist with daily cleaning such as trash removal, sweeping, dusting.
- Communicate with all demographics professionally and effectively.
- Model respectful interaction with staff, volunteers, customers, and donors.
- Complete opening and closing procedures efficiently.
- Assist with unloading, sorting, and processing of donations.
- Experience in cash/credit handling and cash register systems.
Required Qualifications
- Boast a passion for animal welfare and advocacy.
- Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30AM-4:30PM; most Saturdays required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects while adhering to safety procedures.
- Must possess driver’s license, clean driving record and insurance.
- High school or General Education Degree (GED) required; experience in retail preferred.
- Must be comfortable and willing to interact with all demographics of community population; public, leadership staff, volunteers, pets etc.
