Position Summary:  As a Retail Operations Associate, you must be a customer service-oriented professional who is focused on promotional and operational functions.

The ideal candidate will deliver a positive customer experience and positively engage with the public, donors, volunteers, and other GHHS staff as well as actively seek to support the mission of GHHS.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development
    • Support
      • Achieving financial objectives
      • Creating engaging in-store displays
      • Developing business strategies and plans to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability
      • Encouraging donations
    • Store Operations
      • Addressing customer complaints and service recovery
      • Logging and monitoring inventory
      • Performing donation intake
      • Performing purchase and return transactions
      • Supporting online sales
    • Partner with other GHHS staff
    • Follow GHHS policies and procedures

  • Education
    • A high school diploma or higher
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a retail environment

    • General office technology (such as email)
    • Retail store operations (including tasks such as inventory control and purchase/return transactions)
    • Technology (point of sale systems, bar code printers and readers, and other store operations systems)
    • Vendor relations
